Our trip to the Kehma Boardwalk

We took the babies to Kehma this weekend for the first time so that they could see the ocean...

and of course Madaleine was sleeping

and Gavin didn't want to open his eyes because of the sun and the wind.

Madaleine finally decided to wake up and take this adorable picture with her Daddy (she really is a Daddy's girl!)

We went to see the sting rays, and Gavin loved it! The sting rays would come up to the edge of the wall to be fed and get everyone wet.... so needless to say Mommy and Maddie hung out behind Daddy.

Mommy and Maddie liked the alligators better because they were behind glass... there was no way they could jump out and get us like the sting rays! :)

Then we left when the alligator started to get a little to interested in Maddie!

Has it already been 4 months???

I can't believe that the babies will be four months old already! Here is a stroll down memory lane over the past four months...

Oh my... was I really that big at the end?!?!

Uhh Ohh.. my water broke at Walgreens...better get to the hospital

We finally meet each other for the first time!!

It was a long 9 days in the NICU, but we did great and are finally home!!

We are getting so big

And here we are now! Time is flying by so fast.

I saw this and thought it was funny

What Do You Do All Day?

A man came home from work and found his three children outside,
still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and
wrappers strewn all around the front yard.

The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to
the house and there was no sign of the dog. Proceeding into the entry, he
found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was
wadded against one wall.

In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a Cartoon channel,
and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing.

In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was
spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on
the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was
spread by the back door.

He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more
piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill,
or that something serious had happened.

He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out
the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and
more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and
toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls.

As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up
in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, and
asked how his day went.

He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here
today?"

She again smiled and answered, "You know every day when you come
home from work and you ask me what in the world I do all day?"

"Yes," was his incredulous reply.

She answered, "Well, today I didn't do it."

Words of wisdom

When I think to myself...
... I should clean my house a little more
... I should work a little harder to get this baby pooch off my belly
... I should be more involved

When I think to myself...
... I should be super mom
... I should FINALLY take down the poinsettias that have been up since Christmas
... I should take a little more time for myself to be more fashionable

When I think to myself...
... I should have all the answers
... I should cook dinner again once in a while (haven't done that since the twins have come along)
... I should at least go to the grocery store so I would have something to cook

When I think to myself I should be better than what I am,
I instead remind myself of something my Mother told me...
"If you were any better, people wouldn't be able to stand you!"

Bath time is so much fun!

I have been trying to find a way to give the babies a bath together at the same time because it saves me a lot of time. I was giving them a bath in their own tub one at a time... it was taking forever! We just bought these stands for the bath tub, and now I am able to put them in together! The babies seem to enjoy it.

Bumbo Babies

We finally got the bumbo seats, and the babies love them! They have been wanting to sit up all the time now, but are still unable to by themselves... so the bumbo seats were the answer!

Lately, both babies have been more interested in eating their hands than their bottles. I thought this was cute... I was able to get a picture of them both eating their right hands at the same time.

We love our new toy!

I finally put together the exersaucer, and the babies love it! They like it for about 5-10 minutes, and then they get tired of holding themselves up. They normally only like toys for 5-10 minutes anyways... so nothing new there!

Maddie loved it from the moment I put her in it and gave me a big smile

Gavin had to think about it for a minute

But then decided he liked it
