Conversations with two year olds

So, I was talking to some friends a few weeks ago about something that happened with Madaleine that seemed to be just another normal thing to me, but was absolutely hilarious to my friends. So I started thinking. Our kids are doing and saying some funny things these days, but sometimes I forget to smile or laugh because I hear these things on a daily basis coming from their precious little mouths. Anyways, I want to write them down somewhere so in years to come I can look back and smile... so the blog seems to be a perfect place to do that.

Madaleine running into the room crying: "Ohhhh Mommy, Madaleine got bonkers!!!" (translation... she hit her head on something)
Mommy: "Oh baby I'm sorry... let me kiss it."
Madaleine: "Umhm, okay Mommy"
Mommy: "...kiss... does it feel better?"
Madaleine: "umhm okay Mommy, bonkers all better."
Meanwhile, Gavin has been in the same room with us playing quietly, and the next thing I know...
Gavin: "OHHH Moooommmmy, Gavin got bonkers toooooo!" (translation... Gavin didn't hit his head, he just thinks he has to do everything his sister does)
Mommy: "Do you need a kiss too?"
Gavin: "Yes Mommy, bonker"
...kiss... and everyone goes about their business.

Here is a popular one in our house these days...

"NO! Want it to!!!" (translation: No, I don't want to)

And another

"Boop boops on it Mommy" (translation: boop boops=desitin... the butt cream.)

And while we are on the topic of butts...

With a big grin on his face Gavin comes running into the room: "Mommy, it's working!!!" (translation: Mom, I just made poop in my diaper.)

And does anyone else have a child that poops in the closet? Madaleine had gone two solid days without doing her business a few weeks ago (which is very unlike her), and this is a conversation I had with her.
Mommy: "Madaleine, you need to make some poops."
Madaleine very contently playing with her toys, "No, want it to."
Mommy" Hey Madaleine, you didn't make any poops today or yesterday. I think you need some medicine for your butt" (translation (and yes, these days I need my sentences to have a translation so normal folks like you know what in the heck I'm talking about!) It's been two days since you have done your business, I think you need a suppository)
Madaleine: "Umhm Mommy, okay. Lets go!" She is now running for the gate to go downstairs very excited, obviously not knowing what I mean by medicine for her butt.
We do the unpleasant chore at task...
Mommy, "Okay Madaleine, medicine is all done. Let's go to Mommy's closet so you can make some poops."
Madaleine: "umhm Mommy, okay." (And I'm not joking... she always says umhm, okay!)
I take her into my closet knowing full and well that she can and will do her business here. Is that not normal??? I thought it was, until I was telling my friends this and they started cracking up laughing.
Anyways, I check on her a few minutes later.
Mommy: "Madaleine, is it working?" (translation: have you pooped yet? It's time for bed!"
Madaleine with a big smile on her face: "Yes Mommy! Madaleine did it! Madaleine made poops!"
Mommy:"Yeaaaa!!! Good job Madaleine!"
